• Masters Degree in Humanities; Social Sciences; Basic Sciences; Applied Sciences; Technologies,
Minimum teaching experience of 10 years as university professor with at least three years experience as  Headship of university department in the concerned subject Experience as Ph. D supervisor Publications and Research papers in prestigious journals

3. Directors In The Faculties

• Ph. D
• Post- graduate degree in Basic Sciences/ Applied Sciences/ Engineering,
Minimum teaching/ research experience of university level of 10 years, with at least two years experience of educational administration in an institution of higher learning/ research

Qualifications for the posts of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor as prescribed in revised UGC Regulations No. F.3-1/2009 dated 28-06-2010. For this, UGC website (www.ugc.ac.in) may also be seen by the candidates.

Emoluments will be as per revised UGC Scales.

Applications are invited in the Proforma given here under (link www.sggswu.org/downloads/application-form.pdf). The applications should accompany an API (Academic Performance Indicator) in the Proforma given here under (link www.sggswu.org/downloads/api-form.pdf) made in the light of UGC Regulation no. F.3-1/2009 dated 28-06-2010 for which UGC web site may also be consulted.

The process of selection is open ended in the sense that no last date is kept for receiving the applications. Applications received will be processed from time to time as per need arising for selection and appointment.
General instructions:

Being a new University entry point for teaching Faculty envisaged at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in the beginning.

1. The posts may be filled on regular/renewable tenure basis or contractual basis or on deputation.
2. The posts may be filled by selection committees or by search committee as per Syndicate decision.
3. Applications should accompany a bank draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in Favour of Vice-Chancellor, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Fatehgarh Sahib Payable at Chandigarh.
4. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates if and when called for interview after consideration of applications, from time to time.

C

1. Registrar
• Ph. D
• Masters Degree in Humanities/ Social Sciences
Min. teaching experience of 15 years (post-graduate Classes)
Min. experience of five years in educational administration in university/college, preferably as Registrar in a University

2. Additional Registrar

• Ph. D,
• Masters Degree in Humanities/ Social Sciences
Minimum teaching experience of 10 years (post-graduate classes)
Minimum experience of four years of educational administration in college/ university

3. Controller of Examination

• Post-Graduate
• Masters Degree in Humanities/ Social Sciences
Minimum experience of Six years as Registrar/ Controller of Examination in a university or institution of higher learning/ research, well versed in conducting examinations at post-graduate level.

4. Additional Controller of Examination
• Masters Degree in Humanities/ Social Sciences
Minimum experience of Four years as Deputy Registrar or as a Additional Controller of Examination in a university or institution of higher learning/ research,Well versed in conducting examinations at post-graduate level.
 

5. Finance Officer:
• Qualification Chartered Accountancy, M.Com/MBA (FINANCE)
Minimum experience of four years in Financial Management/Audit, in reputed organizations.

6. Administrative Officer:
• Masters Degree in Humanities/Social Sciences, preference to MBA (HR).
Min. experience of 6 years in educational administration on a post equivalent to Deputy Registrar of a university or above.
A.) Officers on Special Duty to Vice Chancellor
Qualification same as for Administrative Officer.

7. Project Engineer:

• B.E. (Civil); 5 years experience in Building construction, roads, water supply, sewerage, electrification, air-conditioning in reputed organization including PWD.

D
Fellowships

Whole time fellowships in the following Disciplines:
(i) Sikhism and other major world religions, cultures and civilizations.
(ii) Punjabi Literature.
(iii) Eastern and Western Speculative Thought.
Qualification: Ph.D. in the subject relating to the concerned Discipline.
Publications
Research papers in prestigious journals.

The above posts may be filled on renewable tenure basis/ contractual basis or deputation.
One- step higher appointment also envisaged in case of candidates having been Reader/ Associate Professor in a university with at least ten years of service as such.
Emoluments through negotiation on merit, keeping in view the revised UGC scales for university professors/ associate professors/ assistant professors
Higher emoluments, including allowances, as per Syndicate decision, may be given to highly suitable candidate
Application on plain paper with bio data, addressed to the Vice Chancellor for posts under A, C and D.
Application in prescribed proformas for posts under B.

For positions, under categories B emoluments higher than revised UGC scales, including allowances, may be given to highly suitable candidates.

E 

Appointments of teaching Faculty on contractual basis under the self – financed scheme also envisaged.
